1/2 cup oleo
1 cup water
1 cup flour
4 eggs 

Bring water & oleo to boil.
Add flour & cook till thick, stirring constantly.
When mixture gathers into a mass, remove & cool.Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.

Bake on greased cookie sheet about 45 minutes at 400 degrees.
Cool on wire racks. When cooled, cut off tops.
 Fill with cream filling.
 

Cream Filling:
 
2/3 cup sugar
5 tbsp flour
1/8 tsp salt
1/4 cup cold milk
3 egg yolks, beaten
1 1/2 cups scalded milk
1/2 tsp vanilla
3 egg whites 

Mix first 4 ingredients.
Add egg yolks & pour slowly into scalded milk.
Cook over medium heat till thick.
Add vanilla. Cool. 
Beat egg whites and fold into pudding mix.
Fill puffs.  Makes 8 large puffs.
