Funnel Cakes - MAB
Ingredients:
1 egg
2/3 cup milkapprox.
1 1/2 cup flour
2 tbsp sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
Procedure:
Beat egg. Add milk. Mix dry ingredients. To these, add egg & milk. Beat till smooth.Hold finger over bottom of funnel. Fill funnel with batter.Drop batter from funnel into hot grease, swirling into circles from center out. Make each cake about 3" in diameter.Fry till golden brown. Place on paper towel. Dust with 4x sugar. Serve immediately.( If batter too thin, add a little more flour.)
