Ingredients:

Butter

Loaf French bread

12 large eggs

2 cups half & half

1 cup milk

2 Tbsp sugar

1 tsp vanilla

¼ tsp cinnamon

For topping:

2 sticks margarine cut in small pieces

1 cup light brown sugar

1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans

2 Tbsp light corn syrup

½ tsp cinnamon

Procedure:

Grease 9x13 pan with butter.  Slice and layer 1” thick bread; overlapping slices.

In large mixing bowl combine eggs, half & half, milk, sugar; ¼ cinnamon and salt. Mix until well blended.

 

Pour egg mixture over bread slices and also between slices; cover, refrigerate overnite.

Just before baking place all praline topping ingredients in small bowl.  Combine until crumbly.  Spread topping evenly over bread and bake uncovered for approx 40 mins at 350 degrees.  Serve with syrup (don’t need it).
