Ingredients:

Recipe for hot milk sponge cake 

Cream filling:
2/3 cup sugar
5 tbsp flour
1/8 tsp salt
1/4 cup milk
3 egg yolks, beaten
1 1/2 cups milk, scalded
1/2 tsp vanilla
3 egg whites, whipped 

Glaze:
2 squares unsweetened chocolate
1 cup 4X sugar
1 tbsp butter
2 tbsp water

Procedure:

Prepare hot milk sponge cake.  Cool.

Make cream filling: Mix first 4 ingredients.
Add egg yolks.
Mix well.
Pour slowly into scalded milk.
Cook over medium heat till thick.
Add vanilla.
Cool slightly.
Fold in egg whites.
Chill. 

Slice cake in half.
Pour filling on bottom layer.
Replace other layer on top. 

Make chocolate glaze:Melt choc. squares.
Add 4x sugar, butter and just enough water to form consistency for spreading.
Spread on top of cake.
Refrigerate.
