Ingredients:

2 lb. pork cubes
2 lb. veal cubes
garlic powder
egg
bread crumbs
pointed sticks from the Coal Regions
Not everyone uses garlic, but I do.

Procedure:

Put pork cubes in one medium bowl, veal cubes in another.  Sprinkle  about 2 tbsp garlic powder on top of each. You may add more if you like.  Mix throughout.  Cover tightly. Marinate overnight.  Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Alternate cubes of pork & veal on stick, usually 2 of each meat per stick. Dip in beaten egg, then in bread crumbs. Pour about 1 cup hot water in broiling pan. Place rack on top. Lay city chicken on rack.  Cover with foil. Bake for  about 30 minutes. Uncover and bake for 30 minutes more. We use to fry them. I like them better baked.  Less grease.
