Ingredients:

1 lb ground beef
1/2 cup uncooked rice
1/4 cup chopped onion
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
2 tbsp oil
2  8 oz. cans tomato sauce
1 cup water

Procedure:

One hour before meal:Mix beef, rice, onions and seasonings. Form into small balls.Brown in hot oil, turning frequently, until light brown, but not crusty on all sides.Add tomato sauce & water. Mix well. Cover. Simmer about 45 minutes.
