French Onion Soup - MAB
Ingredients:
3-4 large onions
2 sticks butter
3 tbsp flour
8 cups beef stock
French bread
Swiss cheese
Procedure:
Place ovenproof bowls on baking sheet for easier handling & less oven mess. Sauté onions in butter. Add flour. Stir till golden brown. Add beef stock. Bring to boil.Ladle into ovenproof bowls. Top with thick slice of French bread. Cover with Swiss cheese. Broil 5-10 minutes.
